About Us . . .

Little Fishes Toddler Group
aims to provide a friendly environment for both you and your child where you can
meet and make friends with other carers and their toddlers.

The group is run by mums (young and not so young!) who are also members of
Horfield Methodist Church.

Read more about the team members on the ''Meet Us . . ' page

There are plenty of toys and activities for your toddler to enjoy plus the opportunity to

make things with your child at our craft tables.

See 'A Typical Session' for more details.

Some Extracts from our Constitution (full copies are available on request):

  1. We are a non-profit making organisation commissioned by the Church. The group is run by volunteers from the church. . .  It may be necessary to restrict the numbers of people attending if it is deemed unsafe (due to overcrowding) by the person responsible for ‘safeguarding’.

  2. The purpose of Little Fishes is to provide a relaxing yet stimulating meeting place for babies & toddlers, along with their parents/carers.

  3. Parents/carers must stay with the children they bring along . . . and are responsible for their safety.

  4. There will be a weekly charge of £1.50 per child and 50p (charges to be reviewed annually at the AGM) for each additional sibling over the age of 12 months. This will include refreshments and snacks. Income in excess of the weekly costs incurred may be used to purchase new toys or equipment as the need arises. It could also be used to subsidise special events and activities.
